These services are completely free for the users. The company says that PhonePe will not charge users for any kind of transaction in the present and future.
In a statement issued by PhonePe, it has been said that the company is charging a processing fee of Re 1 on recharge of Rs 51 to 100 and Rs 2 on recharge of more than Rs 100 from select users on an experimental basis. Whereas users will not have to pay any kind of charge on recharge costing less than Rs 50.
Bill Payments will be charged
According to PhonePe, bill payments made through credit cards will be charged. This is the rule of the company. Many other payment apps also charge this type of charge. The company recently announced cashback up to Rs 50 on prepaid mobile recharge. The company said that users recharging through the PhonePe app will get cashback on three recharges of more than Rs 51.
For your information, let us tell you that at present there are about 325 million users connected to Phonepe. Through this platform, users can make money transfer and receive, mobile recharge, DTH and payments at retail stores.
