Nokia launches its latest laptop PureBook Pro, Check specifications and price

    Multinational electronics company Nokia has launched its new laptops- Purebook series in the global market. The company has launched Nokia PureBook Pro in two versions- 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch. The new Nokia PureBook Pro starts at a price of 699 Euros (791 dollars). The laptop runs the Windows 11 operating system and offers a lot of features in its price range.

The new Nokia PureBook  Pro is limited to selected countries across the globe and it is quite unfortunate that it will not be available in India. It is because Nokia has entered into an agreement with OFF Global. OFF Global is an important French startup that has licensing agreement for the design as well as sale of the PureBook laptops.

Specifications

Nokia PureBook  Pro wraps work, life, and entertainment needs into a single experience. The latest 12th generation Intel i3-1220P processor with Windows 11 OS ensures that you will have a smooth performance and increased productivity.

The display is either 15.6”FHD IPS or 17.3”FHD IPS.

The device offers 8GB of RAM for running applications while the storage is 512 GB SSD. Nokia ensures that you can increase the memory of your laptop through an additional micro SD slot.

The large touchpad offers easy navigation with its seamless edge-to-edge dragging in a single movement. The dimension os the touchpad is 14 x 8 cm for 15.6″ model, while the touchpad of 17.3” model is 17 x 9.5 cm.  Both the laptops get a 60 Hz display along with maximum brightness of 250 nits. The backlit keyboard of the PureBook Pro also offers additional productivity. For authentication purposes, a fingerprint reader is also present on the device. It ensures that users can log into the device, apps, and online services in a very easy way.

The PureBook Pro gets a wide full HD screen and a sharp 2MP HD camera for video calling purposes. In terms of speakers, the laptop is offered with 4 speakers for clearer audio. The 2 USB-C 3.2 ports offer fast data transfer, quick charge, and connection to all your peripherals and monitors for an uncluttered workspace. Other ports include a USB-A 3.2 port and an audio jack. For network and connectivity options the PureBook Pro gets WiFi 5 and Bluetooth version 5.

The top cover of the laptop is made up of Aluminium while the panel is made of glass. On the other hand, the plastic and back cover of the PureBook Pro is made of plastic.

The weight of the 15.6″ model is 1.7 kg while the thickness is 19.05 mm. On the other hand, the 17.3” model weighs 2.5 kg. While the battery capacity of PureBook Pro 15.6″ is 57Wh, the older sibling gets a 63 Wh battery. Both the laptops get a fast charging feature and are offered with a 65W power adapter.

The color options that are available for the PureBook Pro are Blue, Dark Gray, Red, and Silver.
