New 5G smartphones are being launched continuously in India these days, but it cannot be said when 5G will start. Although now it is expected that 5G service can start soon. Actually Reliance Jio's 5G phone has been leaked. 

Last year, Reliance launched JioPhone Next. Now the company is preparing to bring JioPhone 5G. This phone can also be offered in the affordable category only. 

According to the report, work is being done on JioPhone 5G and it will be launched in India this year. If the company launches JioPhone 5G this year, then obviously 5G service will also be available. 

Android Central has shared some leaked specifications of JioPhone 5G. According to this publication, Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset will be given in JioPhone 5G. Let us tell you that Qualcomm 215 chipset has been given in JioPhone 5G. 

A 6.5-inch display can be given in JioPhone 5G, which will be HD Plus. According to the report, 32GB storage will be given in JioPhone 5G with 4GB RAM. With this, Micro SD card support will also be available. 

It is being told that for 5G connectivity, JioPhone 5G will get N3, N5, N28, N40 and N78 bands. Interestingly, Reliance Jio has not yet launched 5G in India. 

According to the report of Android Central, 5,000mAh battery will be given in JioPhone 5G. With this there will be 18W fast charge support. On the camera front, this smartphone can have a 13-megapixel primary lens, while an 8-megapixel selfie camera can be given. 

Android 11 Go Edition can be given in JioPhone 5G. However, Reliance Jio will add some of its special features in this. Features like Instant Translate, Google Lens and Text to Speech support will be given in these. 


USB Type C connectivity can be given in JioPhone 5G. Apart from this, the design is also expected to be quite different from the previous JioPhone. It is possible that the company may launch JioPhone 5G along with the 5G launch this year.

At present, nothing has been said from the company side. The company has made big claims about 5G. The company has said that they have the equipments ready to deploy 5G.
